About
Jensen is a poet, educator, and administrator. He is originally from Santa Cruz, CA. After studying Literature and Humanities in the LA area he moved to Winston-Salem, NC and earned his MA in literature. Jensen's deepest passions include education, the intersection of faith and the arts, formal poetry, and warm lighting.Jensen's writing emerges out of the slurry in his own life of philosophy & art, emotional reflections & delightful moments, consistent anxiety & relentless faith. He also comes from an academic background, so he shamelessly mimics the Great Works and Great Persons of history. He hopes and prays that his writing is a source of hope, fun, insight, and meaning to his small community of readers, both friends and strangers (or not-yet-friends).He is currently a middle-school Humanities teacher at The Covenant School and the Parish Administrator at Christ Church, Anglican.
